Future entrepreneurs.

The Entrepreneurial Spirit Takes Off at Ecole Lemania!

Our IB students have launched an exciting Entrepreneurial Competition—a unique opportunity to turn the theories learned in their IB Business Management classes into real projects.

Open to all Ecole Lemania students, across all programmes and ages, this competition invites teams of up to three students (in English or French) to develop and submit their business ideas by February. Finalists will pitch their projects to a panel of teachers and local business leaders.

And, just like true entrepreneurs, participants are aiming for a return on their investment! The top three projects will be awarded prizes for their creativity, feasibility, and impact.

Geo political concerns

Teenagers are often confronted with wider concerns of which they may have limited knowledge.
As part of the academic program support, our boarding students attended a geopolitical conference focused on the Arctic, a region that has become increasingly strategic due to new maritime routes, access to key resources, and military developments in the Far North.
Speakers included a leading Danish Arctic specialist and a former U.S. ambassador.

Ecole Lemania has been educating students in Lausanne and the region for over 100 years. This includes programmes in French and in English and we recently signed a new agreement with GESBF (Groupement des Écoles Suisses preparing for the French Baccalaureate) and the AEFE (Agency for French Education Abroad). This took place at the consular residence of France, in the presence of the Ambassador of France, representatives of the French National Education as well as all the directors of the GESBF member schools.

This affiliation reinforces our Ecole Lemania’s commitment to academic excellence and guarantees the sustainability of the internationally recognized French Baccalaureate.
